Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between your three packages?
It comes down to how much you have already planned.
Full Wedding Planning and Coordination is for couples starting from scratch or close to it. We plan the whole wedding with you: budget, suppliers, design, timeline, then run the day.
Turnover Planning and Coordination is for couples who have already booked most of their major suppliers. We review what you have, fill the gaps, and take it from there. This package requires at least 60% of your core suppliers to be confirmed when you book.
On-the-Day Coordination is for couples who have planned everything themselves and want a professional team running the wedding day so the family can actually be guests.
If you are not sure which fits, that is exactly what the first conversation is for. See the full comparison on our services page.
How much do you charge?
Our rates depend on the package you choose and the year your wedding takes place, since rates are set by event year rather than booking year. Message us with your date and we will send you the current rates straight away.
One thing worth knowing: our fee covers planning and coordination only. Your suppliers, venue, catering, styling and everything else are paid separately and those contracts remain between you and each supplier. We are happy to walk you through what a realistic total budget looks like for the kind of wedding you have in mind.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date in mind. The earlier you start, the better your chances of securing your preferred venue and suppliers, and the more relaxed the whole process is.
We also accept a limited number of weddings each month and we never double book, so popular dates go early. Peak season in Cebu fills up especially fast.
That said, we do take shorter timelines. If your wedding is a few months away, message us and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it justice.
How many coordinators will be at our wedding, and when do they arrive?
We assign a professional coordination team sized to your wedding, based on guest count, venue, program and logistics. Depending on the package and the requirements of the day, this is typically five to six coordinators and may go up to seven. The team includes a lead coordinator plus dedicated bridal and groom assistants who stay with you through preparation, pictorials and your movements between venues.
The team arrives five hours before your ceremony start time and stays through to the end of the reception program, with coverage of up to thirteen total working hours. Coordinators are in formal, event-appropriate attire.
The exact number and composition is our call, so the wedding is properly staffed rather than staffed to a number on a page. This is set out in our Master Terms and Conditions.
Do you work outside Cebu?
Yes. We have planned destination weddings across the Visayas and beyond, including island venues several hours from the city.
Events held outside Cebu may be subject to an out-of-town service fee, and transport and accommodation for the coordination team are agreed with you before anything is confirmed. Meetings and ocular inspections outside Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City also carry a travel fee. All of this is set out clearly in writing before you book, so there are no surprises.
We live abroad. Can you still plan our Cebu wedding?
Yes, and a good portion of our couples are based overseas. We have worked with clients in the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe.
Planning meetings happen over video call, we handle the ocular visits and supplier meetings on the ground for you, and we keep you updated by email and messaging throughout. Time zones are not a problem. One of our couples planned an entire Sumilon Island wedding from thirteen hours away.
If either of you is a foreign national, there are additional legal requirements for marrying in the Philippines and your embassy will be involved. We will point you in the right direction early so it does not become a last-minute scramble.
Do you handle the marriage licence and church paperwork?
We guide you through what is required and when, and we build the deadlines into your planning timeline so nothing gets missed. Filing your marriage licence application and submitting church requirements has to be done by you in person, since these are legal documents requiring the couple’s presence.
What we can do is make sure you know exactly what to prepare, which office to go to, and how early to start. The ten-day posting period for a marriage licence catches a lot of couples out.
Do you book and pay our suppliers for us?
We recommend suppliers, coordinate with them, and assist with booking once you have approved them. All supplier contracts remain between you and the supplier directly, which protects you and keeps everything transparent. It also means we are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, though we will do everything in our power to keep them on track.
On the wedding day, if you would like us to, we can distribute final payments to suppliers using funds you provide and collect the receipts for you. Many couples find this one less thing to think about.
Event-day charges such as permits, parking and supplier overtime are shouldered by you. One more thing worth knowing: all wedding items need to be formally endorsed to our team on the day, as we cannot be responsible for items that were never turned over to us.
How do you choose the suppliers you recommend?
We have built relationships with a trusted network of Cebu suppliers over more than a decade, and we recommend based on quality, reliability, and how well they match your style and budget. We are not paid to recommend anyone, and we are happy to work with suppliers you have found yourselves.
If a supplier we recommend lets you down, that reflects on us, so we are careful about who we put in front of you.
What happens if it rains, or a typhoon is forecast?
Every outdoor wedding we plan has a wet-weather plan agreed in advance, so nobody is making decisions in a panic on the morning.
We will coordinate backup arrangements when you ask us to, though any additional cost for tents, relocation or similar is yours. The final call on activating the contingency plan is made by you, with our recommendation.
Cebu’s rainy season runs roughly June to November, and it rarely rains all day. Often it is a matter of shifting the timeline by an hour rather than abandoning the plan.
What if something goes wrong on the day?
Something usually does, and you will almost never hear about it.
A supplier runs late, a sound system misbehaves, a guest turns up who is not on the seating plan. Our team handles the small things quietly and only escalates to you or your designated representative when a decision genuinely needs to be yours.
We carry an emergency kit, we build buffer into the timeline, and after hundreds of weddings there is not much we have not already seen.
Do you plan events other than weddings?
Yes. We plan debuts, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events alongside weddings. Debuts in particular have a lot in common with weddings in terms of program flow and coordination.
We also coordinate small, intimate celebrations, including civil weddings. There is no minimum guest count, and a fifteen-person ceremony gets the same care as a three-hundred-person reception.
How do payments and booking work?
Your date is held only once we receive the reservation fee and the contract is signed. Until then, the date stays open to other couples.
Payment is spread across instalments, with the schedule depending on how far ahead you book. Please note that payments made are non-refundable, and that falling behind on the agreed schedule may pause services until the account is brought up to date.
Everything, including the instalment schedule, the reservation fee, date changes, and all applicable fees, is set out in our Master Terms and Conditions, which we share with you well before you commit to anything. Your final guest list, seating plan and musical lineup are due at least seven days before the wedding.
How involved do we need to be in the planning?
Entirely up to you. Some couples want to weigh in on every centrepiece, others give us a direction and a budget and ask to be shown the result. Both work.
What we ask for is decisions when we need them, since delays on your side compress the timeline for everyone else. We will always tell you clearly what we need and by when.
